Cause of Establishment:
There was no temple conssecreted to Lord Brahmaji in this area, hence this temple was built. Lord Brahma is the prominent lord god of the Hindu triad. The other two are Vishnu and Mahesh. Brahma is the lord of creation. There is one temple of Brahma at Pushkar. The other is here. (The third temple an ancient one is at village Chhinchh in Banswara District also).

       
Brief of the Diety:

On May 5, 1984 an idol of Brahmaji was established here and the very next day on May 6, Shri Kheta Ramji Maharaj laid down his fleshy tebernacle. He passed away. The chief entrance may be seen.

Religious sect to which the temple belongs:

The temple belongs to the Sanatan Dharma (faith external) tradition of the Hindus. This temple has been built by the Raj Purohits.

The yellow (golden stone) of Jaisalmer has been used in the construction of the main entrance hall. The rest of the temple is made of Jodhpur Stone (Chhitar Stone). The idol of Shri Brahma ji is mdae of Marble. On the cenotaph of Shri Kheta Ramji, marble of Makrana has been used.

Material of Construction:

Jaisalmeri Stone, Jodhpuri Stone, marble and other commonly used building material. The carving work however is unique.

Total Construction Time: The foundation of the temple was laid on 20th April 1961 but he deity was enthrimed on 6th May 1984. Thus it took 24 years for completion. The chief deity is lord Brahma His consout Gayatri's idol is also by the side of the chief deity.

Unique features of the temple:

The idol is indeed unique piece of sculptural elegance. The temple has been built mainly by the Raj Purohits. A big condoned off place is there for birds to pick up grain. Birds are fed daily. Every day 200 Kilo Gram grain is given to birds.

Festivals & Fairs in Temple (Main Events):

Every year on 5th day of the bright half of Vaisakh month (May) the Pran Prathishta ceremony is commemorated. On the next day, the death anniversary of Shri Khetaram ji (the founder of the temple) is observed. Other festivals are - Mahashivratri, Guru Poornima. There are idols of the following sages ( the exranal sages) Maharshi Uddalak, Maharishi Vashishta, Maharishi Kashyap, Maharishi Gautam, Maharishi Pippalada, Maharishi Parashar and Maharishi Bhardwaj.

Issues requiring global attention for conservation, protection and improvement of the temple:

Free charitable distribution of food is made every day. The kine house (gaushala houses 350 cows). The present Mahant (Manager priest) Sh. Tulasi Ram is doing a commandable job. An education institution, in the name of Shri Kheta Ramji is being run. A higher secondary school is also proposed. The vast lodge can house hundred of visitors in its 102 rooms and 11 halls. Charges are just nominal.
