Cause of Establishment:
 The temple has been built as a result of religious devotion and strong faith. The temple has about 246 inscriptions which amply show that over the centuries, the temple was extended, renovated, rebuilt and additions were made to it.

The main idol is that of Shri Nakoda Parshwanath. This statue was brought here from the village Nakoda which is near Sinduri., hence the place is called Nakoda Parshwanath temple. But this alone is not the attraction of the temple. The Nokaoda Bhaironji was installed by Acharya Shri Vijay Himachal Suri who also established idols of other Teerthankars in this temple.

The temple belongs to the idol worshiping Jain Shwetamber sect, but in fact this is worshiped by all Jain and all Hindus.

The temple has a very high elaborate shikher which is a rare example of Architectural and sculptural elegance. There are unparalleled statuettes and other floral patterns. The temple in fact is treated as a pilgrimage and it is visited by all Janis, Hindus of the entire country.

Makrana marble and Jaisalmeri sand stone as also chhitar stone Jodhpur stone have been used in construction.

This is a very ancient temple and the construction work has been going over the centuries. As has been said earlier, this place has become a pilgrimage that every Hindu, every Jain and every Sikh would like to pay here visit. The devotees believe that every particle of this wholly pilgrimage of Nakoda is sacred. This is a universal feeling that entry into the place a most pleasing, Elam and tranquility descends upon the visitor. A feeling of Devine bliss is around. This is also believed that who so ever is pays visit here, has his wishes fulfilled.

On every tenth day of the dark half of the month of paush, the birth anniversary of Lord Parshwanath is celebrated here with all gaiety and jubilance. Other festivals are also held from time to time drawing huge crowds.

Evening Time:

All customs and traditions related to the temples are age old and they are strenuously followed. On the idol of Nakoka Bhairavji, oil is poured. This is the place where newly weds come to pay their first homage.

Vandana and Artis are performed strictly in accordance with traditions.

Although the temple is an one but from time renovations and repairs and additions have been made to the temple. So it is in a very sound position. Even today the construction work is continuing.
