Maharaja
Dungar Singh of Bikaner got this temple constructed in the name
of his father Shri Lal Singh. The temple is named Shri
Laleshwarji Mahadevji.

of the Diety: |

 In
the sanctum sanctorum there is a Shiva Lingam having five faces. Also
Parvatiji, Ganeshji, Kartikeyaji and Nandi. The Shivlingam is of black
stone. It is 3’ high. Other idols of Shiva family are stone while
Nandi is made of seven metals.

four gates of the Nij Mandir are of marble while the
entrance gate is made in red stone in an exquisitely
ornamental style. The whole temple has been plastered
with shining lime paste and cowries paste.

the tenth day of the bright half of shrawan and on
every Monday and Mahashivratri the deity is
decorated with gold ornaments. Shivratri a night
long programme of music singing Shiv bhajans and
hymn singing takes place. |
