Cause of Establishment : The Maharaja had strong leanings towards the spread of Bhakti cult specially that of HanumanJi, the God of power, wisdom and help in pain. Here the devotees can have the God's darshan and offer their prayers.

       
Brief of the Diety:

The idol of Hanuman Ji is very rare. It is 5 1/2' high and 3 1/4' wide. The idol is washed with Vermillion paste making it vermillion colored. This is called "Chola" or covering. The deity is South facing.

Vaishnavas, Shaktas, Shaivas and all Hindus, Janis and Sikhs in general.

The Sanctrum-Sanctorum is beautifully decorated with carved designs in marble. The prayer hall is no less attractive.

Important Architectural Characteristics:

The Shikhar (pinnacle) of the temple is raised spiracle to a height of 25 feet. A gold polished copper

Kalash is at the pinnacle. On the walls of the Shikhar , there are sixteen engraved pictures with themes from the Ramacharita Manasa. On the ceiling is Rama Panchayat i.e. Ram and Sita seated on the Royal throne with three brothers attending on them and Hanuman at service. Locationwise the temple draws huge crowds of devotees. Specially on Tuesday and Saturdays devotees visit the temple in large numbers.

Lime stone, ordinary building stone, marble and granite

Total Construction Time: 8 years were spent in construction of the temple.
Religious aspects of temple:

Hindus, Janis, Sikhs at large have a deep faith in the deity who for them is a great redeemer and reliever of trouble. Hanuman is the home of measureless power, his body like a gold mountain, a fire for the forest of demons, the first amongst the wise, home of all virtues, lord monkeys and a dear devotee of Lord Rama.

Unique features of the temple:

The idol of Shri Hanuman is wonderfully miraculous and is famous all over the country. The Jagmohan or worship hall of the temple has artistic mirror work depicting Chitrakuta where Tulsidas was making Sandal paste and Raghubir (Rama) was applying a tilak on Tulsi's forehead with his hand. Another picture is that of Shabari who is offering Berry fruits after having tasted each one. One more picture is that of infant Rama. Seeing these pictures gives delight.The devotees can be seen offering prayers,reading and reciting devotional text of the Ramayan,Sunderkanda,Hnuman Chalisa,Bajarang Baan etc.
