Cause of Establishment:In North India Rama Bhakti (devotion to Shri Rama) was spread and this peetha (seat) became a prominent seat of Shri Ramanuja Vaishnta sect. This sect propounded Vaishnava adwaita as a philosophy of Religion. It presented the synthetic view of spiritual experience of God or Brahman. It holds that the truth that by realizing Brahman everything is realized. Reality or Brahman can only be intuited and not inferred by reason. Ramanuja was a great pioneer of Rama Bhakti. The temple in its present shape was modelled by Acharya Narayan Dev Ji Maharaj, the fifth Acharya of this Peetha (Central seat) in the time of Mirza Raja Jaisingh of Amer.

       
Brief of the Diety:

The chief idols are made of Ashtadhatu or alloy of eight metals. However the already existing idol of RaghunathJi in Black stone is also present.

The temple has been built in happy blend of Mughal and Jaipur style of architecture. Beautiful decorative work too has been done.

The grand and magnificently huge building built in ancient architectural elegance is a great attraction. Added to this is a tunnel between two hills and the surrounding luxuriate growth of vegetation giving it a natural cover.
