Cause of Establishment:
Seth Dharamshah was an extremely religious person and he was very rich. So he made use of his immense wealth in building this temple. This is center of worship for the Janis and Hindus and for the generations to come. The temple will keep on attracting people and this has immortalized the name of Seth Dharamshah. People believe that they can attain Moksha (salvation) from existence through devotion.

       
Brief of the Diety:

Adinath Bhagwan, Jain Teerthankar is the deity of this temple. The principal idol is of deity of this temple. The principal idol is Shri Adinath. Along with him other 54 idols are also installed. The temple has been built in such a way that from any point the idol can be seen and thus darshan can be had.

Religious sect to which the temple belongs:

The Shwetamber Jain Moorti poojak Jains (idol worshiping Janis wearing white cloths and believing in ascetism) is the main sect, otherwise all Jains and Hindus also worship this temple. What is important is the beauty of the Architecture, fresh air and light are eminently available from the morning to evening, there is ample natural light in  temple. This temple is also  world fame.

Architecture of the Temple:

The principal idol is Shri Adinath. Along with him other 54 idols are also installed. The temple has been built in such a way that from any point the idol can be seen and thus darshan can be had.

Material of Construction:

The material for construction has been used from the locally available stone, lime mortar and other things.

Total Construction Time: The temple was so meticulously and artistically built that it took 50 years to build the temple.

This is a much venerated temple which Shwetamber Jains particular, holds their own temple.

Unique features of the temple:

This temple has been built on a height and as such it has resisted the earthquakes and other natural calamities over the centuries. The foundation of this temple is built with five kinds of metal alloy and as a result of his, no tremors of earthquake can harm it. Temples here are not only safe and secure but they also attract attention of the visitors with their pillars 50 ft. high and each pillar having 84 goddesses and names encarved on it. In addition to this, there are four big mandaps (general halls) and 20 rang mandap halls are specially used. In all four directions, the idols of Bhagwan Adinath are installed.

Festivals & Fairs in Temple (Main Events):

Every year on the fifth day of the bright half of Phalgun month, the anniversary of the temple is also held. Another important function is the Poornima of Kartik.

Customs and for ritual worship and temple Traditions, it remains open from 6.00 am to 8.30 pm but for darshan and visit of the visitors, the permissible time is 11.30 am to 5.00 pm Aartis are held at the prescribed times.

Issues requiring global attention for conservation, protection and improvement of the temple:

This place is already an attraction for the tourist, which should not be converted into a picnic sport because that would damage the sanctity of temple.
