the prayers of Agradeva, mother Sita Ji appeared alone.
Because of the miracle there is a special importance of this temple and idol.

Architectural Characteristics: |
The
temple has old artistic pictures exquisitely drawn on
floor and walls. Various Leelas (sportive acts of Lord
Rama have been depicted). They are no less than two
hundred years old. A magnificent marble portico and
silver throne with artistic figures there on, for the
deity- all these are worth seeing.

Religious
aspects of temple: |
The
worship of the deity is in the madhuropasana tradition.
There are about ten thousand temples in this tradition.
In Jagannath Puri, a vast Raiwasa Math shows the special
aspect of this temple. There is predominance of female
delicacy in the worship of the deity here. The followers
have a friendly sweet feeling for the deity. This is
called Sakhi Bhava (friendly sentiment).

features of the temple: |
Expansion
of the sect and its doctrines, preparation of young
students by teaching them Vedas and Vedangas so as to
make the Vedic scholars, service of the cow and
preparation of medicines with cow products such as milk,
curds, ghee, dung, and urine (PanchGavya). Also
scientific research of this method of treatment.

Rama
Navami, Krishna Janamashthami, Janaki Navami, Shri
Agracharya Jayanti and Fairs on the fifth day of the
bright half of Falgun and Guru Poornima.

& Traditions of Temple: |
Traditions,
customs, rituals of the Ramanandi Vaishnava sect are
followed here:- The vast temple sprawls over a piece of
land measuring two Bighas and ten Biswa. It has five
main portals, 11 Chowks and 84 cells. In the Sanctum
Sanctorum the idol of ShriJanakiJi is seated on a
silver Throne.
