                      | The
goddesses (deities) in the temple are the incarnations
of Devi Bhagwati. Visitors and devotees come to the
temple with their wishes, which are fulfilled by the
deity. Again after their fulfillment of wishes, they
visit the temple and offer Prasadam (sweet dishes cooked
and offered to the deity with ceremony). The deity
accepts the Prasadam, which is then distributed to all.
Strong and unflinching faith in the miraculous powers of
the deities draw the devotees from far all places. |
